Together with our community, we create exceptional holiday experiences and remove barriers to education by providing needed resources at Title 1 elementary schools.

Title 1 schools are schools that have a high percentage of students from low-income families. Resources for these students are often out of reach. At Holiday House SRQ, we believe every child deserves the joy of giving and to be equipped with basic necessities to get through a day of school.
In 2025, we served 50% of the Title 1 Schools in Sarasota County. Over 2,500 children benefitted across five schools: Alta Vista Elementary, Brentwood Elementary, Emma E. Booker Elementary, Gocio Elementary, and Wilkinson Elementary.
Each year, we transform classrooms into magical holiday shops where students select 6 gifts for their loved ones—free of charge. This simple experience creates lasting memories while fostering dignity, pride, and empowerment.
Our impact extends beyond the holidays through year-round initiatives that meet critical needs. Since 2023, we have distributed over 2,500 pairs of new sneakers, eliminated school lunch debt, supported homeless families during school breaks, and created free uniform closets at each partner school.
We are committed to supporting the whole child—bringing joy, meeting essential needs, and strengthening our community year-round.
