Title 1 schools are determined by the percentage of students who come from low income families and receive free or reduced lunches. For the majority of these students, holiday experiences are simply not what others take for granted and shopping for presents is a joyous, empowering and lasting memory.

Creating a Holiday House is no small feat-it requires dedicated volunteers, financial support, and a sprinkle of magic. Each year we transform ordinary classrooms into enchanting Winter Wonderlands, and invite children to shop for gifts for their family free of charge, weaving an experience that leaves an indelible mark on their hearts and memories. 

 

Additionally, we provide for some important needs. In 2023, over 450 of new sneakers were distributed to students of Alta Vista Elementary, lunch debts were eliminated, and homeless families were given resources to carry them thru the holiday break. 
 

We are committed to creating a positive impact in our community through purposeful endeavors. Ensuring that schools have access to enriching experiences and receive support in areas where resources may be limited gives us great joy!
